At the end of your stay, you may choose to keep your TT vehicle by paying the balance. This may prove to be an excellent choice if your aim is to have a vehicle during your next stay, or if for a reason you must stay in europe longer than expected.
In order to do so, you are to contact the manufacturer three weeks before the return date of your vehicle scheduled at the moment of your reservation, in order to know the balance amount.

How is the buy-back price of the vehicle in TT calculated ?
Depending on the models, you may get a discount of up to 40% of the price of the vehicle, and the average discount 25%. It is important to note that no vehicle will say VAT free indefinitely. At some point, you will have to pay customs duties, VAT, or any other applicable tax in the country where your vehicle will be registered definitively.
VAT for France is 20%. This percentage is calculated over the price of the car plus options. Since 2008, no VAT reduction applies to tax free cars. You must therefore add to the following to the price you ahve alrteady paid for using the car:
