The customs regime of "Temporary Transit," also known as "TT," allows beneficiaries to acquire a new tax-free vehicle for a period determined by the customs office.

Only valid for new passenger vehicles (VP). Person of French or foreign nationality residing outside the European Union or in the French overseas departments and territories for more than 6 months.

For a stay of a minimum of 15 days to a maximum of 6 months (the registration period cannot be less than 15 days).

WARNING: By undertaking a TT, the buyer commits to exporting their vehicle at the end of their stay. If they are unable to do so (due to breakdown, accident, repairs, etc.), they must contact the Paris Principal customs office as soon as possible.

Copy of proof of residence: water, electricity, or phone bill less than 3 months old

Original Mines Report, stamped and signed by the dealer
Original VAT-exempt purchase invoice mentioning the buyer's name, first name, and address abroad or in the French overseas departments and territories, with the annotation "VAT Exemption Article 262-1 of the CGI"
Round-trip flight tickets When we have the documents, it takes 24 to 48 hours to carry out the TT.

Conditions d’application

Uniquement valable pour les véhicules neufs de tourisme (VP).
Personne de nationalité française ou étrangère résidant hors Union Européenne ou dans les DOM/TOM, depuis plus de 6 mois.

Pour un séjour de 15 jours minimum à 6 mois maximum (la durée d'immatriculation ne peut pas être inférieure à 15 jours).

ATTENTION : En réalisant un TT, l’acheteur s’engage à exporter son véhicule à la fin de son séjour. S’il ne peut pas (panne, accident, réparation…), il devra contacter le bureau de douane de Paris Principal dans les plus bref délais.

Facture d’achat HT originale mentionnant le nom, le prénom et l’adresse de l’acheteur à l’étranger ou dans les DOM/TOM et l’annotation « Exonération de TVA article 262-1 du CGI »
Billets d’avion aller/retour

Quand nous disposons des documents, il faut compter 24 à 48h pour effectuer le TT.

This rate includes:

Purchase a new passenger vehicle, never registered, in Metropolitan France.
Reside habitually, as well as your parents, outside the EU or in an Overseas Department or Territory for more than 6 months.
Be pursuing secondary or higher education in Metropolitan France.
Not engage in paid employment.

Validity Period

The "TT student" card is valid for the duration of the school year. It is NOT renewable.

Application Conditions

Only valid for new passenger vehicles (VP).
Usually reside outside of the EU or in an Overseas Department or Territory.
Be seconded by a private or public organization in Metropolitan France for a maximum duration of one year for an internship or two years for a mission.

Validity Period

Maximum one year for an internship, two years for a mission

Application Conditions This regime is reserved for people residing in Metropolitan France whose definitive departure or assignment outside the EU is scheduled within the next 3 months. The "TT" vehicle must be purchased new in Metropolitan France.

Validity Period

The "TT Exemption" regime has a maximum validity of 3 months. It is intended for people moving from mainland France to a foreign country or an Overseas Department or Territory.
